The Role
Working as a professional consultant at Stream:20 can be pretty challenging (99% need not apply as the old Marines advert used to say). Seeing the number of quality applicants we get for our Digital Marketing Internship, it has to be said that it's becoming increasingly hard to even get an interview as an intern.
So, first, please check these initial criteria before you apply. Each of them must be answered positively if you want to be considered:
- You will have arranged your own accommodation in London (i.e. inside the M25) for the duration of the internship
- You will be available full-time (7.5 hours a day) for the duration of the internship
- You have adequate financial resources to cover your living expenses for the duration of the internship - with only travel expenses covered by the company (no other expenses will be expected)
- You are fluent in English (written and spoken)
- You are available for at least 2 months
- Your application states exactly when you are available to start your placement
That done, here's the low down...
If you are looking for some real-world experience in a digital marketing consultancy, the internship programme at Stream:20 may be exactly what you need.
We are looking for pre and post graduates with the right attitude and aptitude, a desire to learn the ropes and gain working knowledge of digital marketing. We provide our interns with a solid, foundational understanding of processes and methods they need to grasp, knowledge that they can use anywhere in the future.
Depending upon how well you demonstrate your abilities, we'll be ready to give you a fair amount of responsibility and latitude to make your mark and earn a worthy reference when you leave.
We have had many interns who have gone straight into executive roles in the industry. Will you be the next one?
-
You will:
- Gain valuable industry-leading knowledge and experience
- Learn the tools of the trade - getting involved in multiple digital marketing channels
- Tackle various leading-edge research projects
- Produce reports and presentations for both clients and the consultancy
- Have access to a wealth of written, audio and video educational materials
- Gain a reference from a Senior Consultant at Stream:20
- Create your own presentation of your learnings and have a chance to present it back to the company
-
As opportunities arise you may also:
- Learn the processes & methods involved in social media account management
- (If you prove yourself) Research and manage areas of live client projects
- Learn and execute cutting-edge traffic-building techniques
Our internship placements last a minimum of 8 weeks to a maximum of 3 months - though longer periods can be arranged for overseas applicants who are financially self-supported. This is not a paid position, but daily travelling costs are covered if you live in or very close to London.
Required Skills
- Familiarity with MS Office. Fluency in English.
- Personal and/or business use of social media - especially FaceBook and Twitter and LinkedIn - a real advantage.
